#25 Why private investors should consider investments into the European affordable housing sector
With rising populations and increasing demand for housing, affordability has become a critical challenge across Europe. Millions struggle to find homes within their budget, and the situation isn’t improving. A new report from global real estate services firm JLL estimates that 23 million new homes are needed in key European markets to ease the crisis - an ambitious goal that would require EUR 5.3 trillion euros in investment. In this episode of the PAT Cast, we explore what affordable housing really means, the role of private capital in helping to address the crisis, and how investment managers, including PATRIZIA, are already facilitating an improved and growing flow of capital into the sector on behalf of clients.Your host is Andrew Belt and he is joined by: Emma Rosser, Director for Living Research - EMEA at JLLMarleen Bekkers, PATRIZIA Sustainable Communities Fund Manager Find out more at https://www.patrizia.ag/en/ This podcast has been issued by PATRIZIA Investment Management S.à r.l.
