This collection contains five original articles containing new research from DCCT/EDIC as well as a commentary and review on the history and importance of the DCCT/EDIC. This episode of Diabetes Care “On Air” features several of the researchers who have been involved in DCCT/EDIC as well as some of the individuals living with diabetes who have taken part in the studies. Diabetes Care “On Air” co-hosts Alice Cheng, MD, FRCPC, and Michael Rickels, MD, MS, hosted a panel discussion with Kirk Habegger, PhD, Darleen Sandoval, PhD, and Kevin Williams, PhD, who co-host DiabetesBio, as well as Neil Skolnik, MD, co-host of Diabetes Core Update and Diabetes Day by Day. This episode is being released on three of our professional podcasts: Diabetes Care “On Air,” DiabetesBio, and Diabetes Core Update.
