She is the owner of Boulder Holistic Vet and Natural Cat Vet. Her mission is to empower pet parents to become medical advocates for their pets. In her practice, she combines both traditional and alternative therapies to help her patients be as happy and healthy as possible. Dr. Angie’s journey to become a veterinarian started over 35 years ago when her mother brought home a black kitten. Naturally, she named him Pinky. During Pinky’s first visit to the vet, she knew immediately veterinary medicine is where she was meant to be. In 2007, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She then furthered her studies by traveling to China to study Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and is certified as a Veterinary Acupuncturist and Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. Serving animals and the people that love them is her great joy. Over the years, her patients have taught her that spending time with the people and creatures we love, eating good food, the healing powers of naps, and the necessity of daily play are truly what’s most important in life.
