  • Season Ep. 22: The Invisible Self: Exploring the Tension Between Belonging and Self-Expression
I recently had a couple of encounters that were a bit triggering and felt the need to shrink myself or “water down” my personality. These encounters inspired this episode where we will explore the idea of belonging and allowing yourself to live 100% fully expressed.  In Episode 22, I openly share my experiences with self-expression to normalize these conversations, hopefully providing some food for thought as you navigate your own journey. I dive into navigating anxiety and finding feelings of safety while accessing our gifts and making our work accessible to more people without feeling like we have to water ourselves down. I share my personal experience with a cacao ceremony and some tools that can help you navigate through exploring the tension between belonging and self-expression. Lastly, I want to emphasize the importance of inner child work and nurturing our relationships with our younger selves, especially when we find ourselves repeating old patterns. How do you live your life fully expressed? What are the things you do to make a difference in those moments of tension or feeling watered down? Share it with me on the DMs or leave this episode a review!   “There is some part of us that believes that our whole self is not welcome, is not invited, and in fact, is not enough.”   This episode explores:  ❤️‍🔥 Shrinking away, belonging, and self-expression.  ❤️‍🔥 Cultivating unshakeable certainty of who you are. ❤️‍🔥 Easing the tensions between your invisible self and your fullest expression.    “I had to actually go back into those places and take those parts back and just love them. Love the girl who made those decisions and understand how she ended up there.”   Here are some of the highlights of Episode 22: ❤️‍🔥 (00:31) The triggers that inspired this episode about belonging and self-expression. ❤️‍🔥 (04:01) Normalizing these conversations about self-expression. ❤️‍🔥 (07:11) My sisterhood wound and how I deal with it when it comes up. ❤️‍🔥 (08:40) The concept of cultivating unshakeable certainty in who you are. ❤️‍🔥 (13:42) Feeling unsafe and how to live fully expressed. ❤️‍🔥 (17:20) My grounding prayer. ❤️‍🔥 (17:50) How reconnecting with your inner child can help you find belonging.   As promised, here are the links you need to know: ❤️‍🔥 Come join us in the Sacred Soul Sisterhood - The Virtual Community Membership - Listeners get an extension on Founding Member Pricing until June 30th, 2023. $77/month or $777/year. ❤️‍🔥 Reconnect and heal with your inner child through the Inner Child Exploration Series - 50% off using promo code: INNERCHILDEXP50 ❤️‍🔥 If you have an interest in Mary Magdalene, I highly recommend Mary Magdalene Revealed by Meggan Watterson - also her Divine Feminine Oracle which supported the message in this episode.   “It doesn't matter if you should “be over it by now.” It's time to just exercise deep self-compassion because you are 100% worth that love.”

This journey of finding my true way of being helped me create better and more authentic connections and a life I deeply love. Hey, lovelies! I am so excited to share this episode with you! Head over to The Former Mean Girl’s Instagram, and we’ll do our best to get them answered for you.   “When I would look at those pictures, particularly after her transition, I had this feeling of, like, neither of those people exist anymore.”   This episode explores:  ❤️‍🔥 Our love story before and after Rhea’s transition. ❤️‍🔥 Answering the questions from my listeners.   “I think that the more we normalize these conversations, the more safety trans people can have when they're just navigating the world, being their fucking selves, because we should all be awarded that right, frankly.”   Here are some of the highlights of Episode 20: ❤️‍🔥 (00:34) Rhea and I talk about our relationship and why we want to share this episode.  ❤️‍🔥 (05:52) What were the kindest or most supportive comments that we received? ❤️‍🔥 (10:04) What happened to all the old photos and all the old mementos and the stuff from pre-transition? ❤️‍🔥 (20:15) Rhea and I share our thoughts for others who find themselves in the same place.   As promised, here are the links you need to know: ❤️‍🔥 Make sure you check out and connect with me on The Former Mean Girl Podcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/formermeangirlpod ❤️‍🔥The Night Sky: https://www.thenightsky.com/ “Oftentimes couples will end up in that place where they go into autopilot, and they do get complacent. • Season 2 Ep. 19: The Myth of Bloom Where You are Planted
Bloom where you are planted - it’s a powerful statement that feels so inspiring…. But is it?  In this episode, I am diving into the cliché and how my view about it has changed, especially with my relationships and my healing. I share stories about some personal endings and the healing that occurred in the space after. • Season 2 Ep. 18: Healing Spiral
Have you ever felt like you’ve been on a journey, and you thought you had healed, and the next thing you know, you are repeating the lessons? This happened to me this week, and oh boy, was it a week! Freya, my beautiful cat, had a medical emergency that sent me into a traumatic experience that I thought I’d healed back in 2011. The lessons I learned this week helped me trust in myself, my guides, and the support from people around me. It also helped me discover what hope truly is, and it is such a powerful lesson. Join me in this episode and let me know when the last time you fell into a healing spiral was. I would love to know and support you, too!   “When the lesson is deeply rooted, our tendency to avoid or just kind of store it, put it away, ignore those negative, hard, challenging feelings, those lessons are going to continue to come back for us.”   This episode explores:  ❤️‍🔥 What a Healing Spiral is ❤️‍🔥 The lessons learned this week ❤️‍🔥 How this experience was influenced by my word for 2023   “I could not allow myself to hope. Hope felt so scary.”   Here are some of the highlights of Episode 18: ❤️‍🔥 (00:30) What is the healing spiral? ❤️‍🔥 (02:23) The story behind the crazy things that happened this week. ❤️‍🔥 (07:24) What I realized after a Reiki session. ❤️‍🔥 (11:15) My word of the year and how it ties with my lessons this week.   As promised, here are the links you need to know: ❤️‍🔥Get my book Sacred Anger https://seryna.ca/sacredanger/   ❤️‍🔥Join me in my exclusive sessions in Lilith Rising with special pricing until February 28th - $1111 for the VIP day and integration support, 3 spots only! https://seryna.ca/lilith/ ❤️‍🔥 Do you need support and know more about healing?
