It’s important because God had said a long time ago that this is how Jesus would enter Jerusalem – he was doing what God said he would do.Why did the people run to see Jesus?They had heard about the amazing things Jesus had done and wanted to worship him.How did they worship Jesus?They waved palm branches and laid coats on the street before him. They worshipped him like a king. They shouted, “Hosanna” which means, “Save us!”What are some ways you can worship Jesus this Easter?Getting ready for Easter by reading or watching the Easter story. Praying and thanking him for what Easter means. Singing, giving offerings to the church, and helping others are also all ways to worship God.Parent DevotionalHey parents!
